My Zac Efron Meeting…

I went on an audition for a new movie with director Lee Daniels. I knew that I was too young  for the part but I really wanted to meet Lee Daniels and the audition was with Zac Efron. Where am I going to meet Zac Efron and Lee Daniels again one on one?  I studied for the part and went in.  As I stepped in the room,  Mr. Daniels and his sister Leah who was the casting director was sitting at a table.  Zac was sitting at the table and he immediately got up and I just grabbed and hugged Zac!!   I lost it folks. Zac was so sweet to me and started laughing.  I started rambling and I talked liked I was his old friend.   I was sooooooo nervous. But then I gathered myself for the read.  We read the part and Mr. Daniels looked at me and said, I see you all the time on Chelsea but you are younger that I thought. ( The part was for a woman who had to have raised Zac so technically she would be 55 to 65 years old). But then Mr. Daniels said, you did an excellent job.  After that  the we talked for about 10 minutes!!  We laughed and joked and I had a great time. As I walked out, Mr. Daniels, still sitting, yelled to me, “ Loni, that was really great work”.  I may never be in a Lee Daniels film or star with Zac Efron but for a brief moment, I was in ecstasy.
