I just want to let you know that if they ever film the Stephanie Plum Series(from Janet Evanovich,)you would be the perfect Lula. Keep that role in mind if your agent hear about that movie, it will suit you perfectly. Hugs from Nashville. Shelly Winters says in her second autobiograpy, that the Colonel kept Elvis from doing really good roles, and just kept him churning out the singing money makers. He got really good notices from the critics for Flaming Star with Barbara Eden of I Dream of Jeannie, and especially for King Creole with Carolyn Davis of the Addams Family. I also think if he had done more serious roles it would have extended his life, and he wouldn't have imploded on drugs and alcohol out of self hate and misery. He had a lot of talent and personality, and he liked black people more than he let anyone know. Preach sister!
