Love, standup comedian, host of Logo’s Gossip Queens and recurring Chelsea Lately panelist, is also proof that you don’t have to make a sex tape with a bush league rapper to get famous. Love graduated college with a degree in electrical engineering, and worked in the field until her standup took off.
Love grew up in Detroit’s Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects and was employed by General Motors right after high school. It was that job in manufacturing that inspired her to pursue another career path, she said.
